Southwell Golf Club, founded in 1993, is located on Southwell Racecourse grounds and features a varied 18-hole course with two distinct nines. The Front 9 plays inside the racecourse with many water hazards, highlighted by the famous 7th hole: a 138-yard par 3 with an island green reminiscent of Sawgrass. The Back 9 demands precision with tree-lined fairways requiring accurate drives. Measuring 5,773 meters for men and 5,232 meters for women, with pars of 70 and 72 respectively, Southwell offers a fair yet challenging test. The modern clubhouse provides a warm welcome with food and bar, and buggies are available for added convenience.
