Silkstone Golf Course

Silkstone Golf Course, part of Silkstone Golf Club, was founded in 1893 and extensively redeveloped in 2008 to provide a modern championship golf foundation. This 18-hole course plays 6363 yards from the yellow tees and 6536 yards from the white tees, offering a challenging round for golfers of all levels. Its location allows relaxed golf with precision, while views over the Silkstone valley towards Emley Moor and Cannon Hall enhance the course's character. The greens are well maintained, and thanks to the winter course policy, the course often remains playable when others close due to bad weather. The clubhouse features catering and a bar, and the professional staff supports golfers on the course. The club also has practice facilities, including a practice ground. Silkstone Golf Course hosted events such as the 2019 Order of Merit and the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs 7th Division Team Championship.
