Portumna Golf Club

Portumna Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course with a championship feel, set in Portumna Forest Park with views over Lough Derg. Mature, tree-lined fairways shape the playing experience, bringing both beauty and precision into focus, while the course’s natural movement and wildlife, including fallow deer, add to its atmosphere. The par-72 layout is built around tight fairways, well-placed bunkers, fast undulating greens, and doglegs that reward smart course management. Founded in 1913, the club has a long history and a well-rounded practice setup that includes a putting green, driving range, bunkered chipping green, and practice bays. After the round, the clubhouse offers modern changing rooms, a golf shop, and a bar and restaurant serving locally prepared food.
