Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links

Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links is an 18-hole links course set along the shoreline of Ireland’s Velvet Strand, where the sea is a constant presence. Opened for play in 1995, it stretches across 203 acres on the grounds of the former Jameson Estate of St. Marnocks. Built on dunes and natural terrain, the course offers a classic links challenge with elevated tees and greens, blind approaches, doglegs and the kind of coastal breeze that demands smart shot-making throughout. The course has also staged notable events, including the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open and the 2021 Irish Challenge. A rebranding project in October 2023 brought five new green complexes and four new tee areas, adding to its championship-level test while keeping the layout fair for golfers of different standards.
