Pontardawe Golf Club is in Swansea Valley, overlooking Pontardawe. The 18-hole course at 600 ft combines semi-parkland and mountain elements. Nearly 6100 yards, par 70, it offers fun and challenge for all levels. Gentle slopes add character; hole 16 tee offers views 150 ft down to the green and beyond to Brecon Beacons, Black Mountain, Swansea Valley, and Swansea Bay. Founded in 1924, it grew from 9 to 18 holes, completed in 1968 with pro Brian Huggett's opening round.
