Palheiro Golf

Palheiro Golf is an 18-hole par 72 championship course in Madeira, located in the Palheiro Nature Estate. The course winds through maritime pines, botanical greenery, and lush subtropical vegetation at nearly 500 meters altitude. From various points, there are impressive views of Madeira's mountain silhouette and the Atlantic Ocean, giving the round a unique setting. Designed by golf architect Cabell B. Robinson, the course cleverly uses the island's hilly terrain. Steep ridges and deep valleys provide a challenging and varied playing experience. Surrounding the course, the panoramic setting of the clubhouse, Vista Balancal Restaurant, Clubhouse Restaurant overlooking Funchal, the bay and the sea, and the Palheiro Spa contribute to the complete golf experience.
