Golf Lane, NN6 8AZ Church Brampton
Northamptonshire County Golf Course of Northamptonshire County Golf Club is a traditional heathland course in Church Brampton, opened in 1909. The original 18 holes were designed by Harry S Colt and later extensively revised by James Braid, who adjusted bunker patterns and moved the 18th green to its current location by the clubhouse. The golf landscape features rolling terrain with woodland, gorse, heather, and pine woods, making narrow landing zones and precise approaches important. Besides the main round, there is a 9-hole loop and the Colt Course, a 6-hole Par 3 with synthetic putting surfaces for pitch, chip, and putt practice. The club hosts national amateur competitions and has been a regional qualifier for the Open Championship. The clubhouse bar is a central spot overlooking the 18th hole finish.
