Newark Golf Club, founded in 1901, is a trusted 18-hole par-71 course of 6,468 yards in the peaceful Nottinghamshire countryside. The course combines a relaxed atmosphere with a challenging parkland character: tree-lined fairways, rolling terrain, and strategically placed bunkers demand accuracy and smart course management. Some holes stand out clearly, such as the par-four 4th with its demanding carry over water and the back-to-back par fives on the 6th and 7th, where control is essential. The finishing holes also impress, including the 14th, featuring a sharp dogleg and a well-protected green for added excitement. The recently renovated clubhouse is the social heart of the club and overlooks the course. Newark Golf Club also offers strong practice facilities, including Trackman-powered driving range bays.
