Woodham Lane, Addlestone, KT15 3QD

New Zealand Golf Club cover

About this course:

New Zealand Golf Club has a rich history dating back to the former Royal Forest of Windsor. In the late 19th century, a private golf course was established on Hugh Locke King's land, designed and managed in 1893 by amateur golfer Samuel Mure Fergusson. The club officially opened on Saturday, May 25, 1895, named after the area's earlier 'New Zealand' designation. The connection to the King family and references to Captain Henry King and the founding of New Plymouth in Taranaki give this course a unique historical character. Playing here means experiencing a classic golf club with its own distinct story and tradition.
