Murrayfield Golf Course, near Corstorphine Hill and Edinburgh center, is an 18-hole parkland and heathland course offering a true test with narrow fairways and fast, smooth greens featuring subtle borrows and breaks. It boasts wide views over Edinburgh, East Lothian, and Fife, creating a special setting for every round. Founded in 1896, it expanded from 12 to 18 holes. In 1904, Harry Vardon and James Braid played an exhibition match here before 3,000 spectators. The Arts and Crafts style clubhouse, opened in 1912, overlooks the 1st tee and 18th green, enhancing the historic atmosphere of this Edinburgh course.
