The Clubhouse, Loansdean, Morpeth, NE61 2BT
Morpeth Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course in Northumberland's hilly landscape, designed by six-time Open Champion Harry Vardon in 1906. The course spans about 130 acres, combining beautiful views with a fair yet challenging character. The variety of holes, from short and delicate par 3s to longer par 4s and par 5s, makes Morpeth an interesting test for golfers of all levels. The club has a rich history since its founding in 1906 and later moved from its original course to its current location on the village edge. The clubhouse is the social heart of the club and underwent extensive refurbishment in 2016. Morpeth is also known for hosting prestigious events, offering a fine mix of golf, history, and club culture.
