Kellystown, Castleknock, Co. Dublin, D15 RH92, Ierland
Luttrellstown Castle Golf Course sits on a 567-acre walled estate in Dublin, beside the River Liffey, and blends classic parkland character with inland-links details. Designed by Donald Steel and Tom MacKenzie, this 18-hole course plays to 7,347 yards and par 72, with mature parkland, links-style bunkers, water hazards and USGA-compatible greens shaping a demanding round. The wide tees suit different handicaps, while the longer par-3s and near-500-yard par-4s ask for accuracy throughout. After the round, golfers return to an alpine-lodge-style clubhouse spread over several levels. Practice facilities include a chipping area, a 9-hole putting green and a 3-hole short course, while a pro shop, club rental, lessons, buggies and electric trolleys add comfort and convenience.
