The 18-hole parkland course features lush fairways, winding streams, and tree-lined avenues, with doglegs requiring smart course strategy. With well-maintained greens and a challenging yet fair playing style, the course appeals to golfers of various skill levels. Notable holes include a tough uphill par 3, a long well-protected par 3, and the famous “Amen Corner” around hole 9, featuring an approach over the burn to a slightly elevated, two-tiered green. Largs Golf Course is also renowned as a tournament venue, hosting events such as the Scottish Men’s Area Team Championship (2026).
