Whitelees Road, ML11 7RX Lanark, GB
Lanark Golf Club is a course with a rich history, established since 1851 on the same Common Moor land. This 18-hole inland course is deeply rooted in moorland golf: firm, flowing fairways and freely draining glacial sand soil ensure a course playable all year round. The layout was refined over time by Old Tom Morris, George Sayers, and later James Braid, linking the course's character clearly to great names in golf history. Besides the main course, the club has the 9-hole Wee Course, featuring nine varied par-3 holes ideal for honing short game skills. Lanark Golf Club also hosts national and international amateur championships and Open qualifiers, adding prestige for golfers who enjoy playing at a venue with tradition and competitive spirit.
