Lahinch Golf Club cover

About this course:

Lahinch Golf Club’s Old Course is a classic Irish links where dunes and valleys, humps and hollows shape every round. Set on the Wild Atlantic Way, near the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher, it delivers a true links test in which wind, terrain and natural movement shape the challenge from hole to hole. Founded in 1892, the course was first associated with Old Tom Morris and later shaped by Charles ‘Mo’ Gibson, Dr Alister MacKenzie and Dr Martin Hawtree. The 18-hole layout plays to par 72 for the major tees, and walking is part of the experience. The club also keeps the caddie tradition alive, adding local history and folklore while helping players read the well-guarded greens and strategically placed hazards.
