La Monacilla Golf Club

La Monacilla Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by José María Olazábal, opened in 2010. Set in a park-like landscape with extensive pine forests, it combines attractive looks with challenging play. Water features, wide streams, and bunkers require precise shots in length and placement. The course alternates short par-4s with bunkers and tricky greens with long par-5s; hole 7, flanked by water on both sides, is one of the most distinctive. La Monacilla is well-equipped for practice, with a driving range over 270 meters, three practice greens, and a large putting and chipping area. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, caddiemaster, and locker rooms.
