Kirby Muxloe Golf Club

Kirby Muxloe Golf Club is a mature parkland course dating back to 1893. Starting as a nine-hole course, it expanded to 18 holes offering golfers a serious yet fair challenge. Strong green complexes and enjoyable fairways create a course that feels both playful and demanding, appealing to golfers of various levels. Kirby Muxloe also stands out in practice facilities: it has a covered driving range with external bays featuring Trackman, plus a short game area with chipping and putting greens and practice bunkers. The clubhouse offers a lounge and restaurant overlooking the course. Notably, hole 5 is played from a tee about 100 yards off the course. The club hosted the English Senior Men’s Open Amateur Championship in 2016 and the Women’s Open Amateur Match Play Championship in 2018.
