Howley Hall Golf Course

Howley Hall Golf Course in Leeds is an 18-hole championship course with a classic club atmosphere and a rich history since 1900. After World War I, the course was partly shaped by renowned architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie, evident in the tactical nature and subtle challenge of the holes. Precision is key here: short holes are sharply bunkered, while longer holes often require smart risk-reward choices, featuring doglegs, elevation changes, and gently sloping greens. The course is known for its four distinctive finishing holes in Yorkshire and was home to the PGA Yorkshire Open. Besides the course, a renovated lounge and practice facilities including a 400-yard practice area, a practice bunker, and a putting green provide a complete golf environment.
