Hayston Golf Club

Hayston Golf Club is a James Braid-designed parkland course with gently rolling, tree-lined terrain. The land slopes and tilts continuously, featuring elevated greens, deflecting hummocks, and gathering bunkers that shape play. With 18 holes and a par of 70, the course demands smart club choices, especially on the often small and tricky greens. The natural setting is strong thanks to strategic tree planting, now grown to 25,000 trees. Established in 1926, James Braid returned in 1946 to refine details. Hayston is known for its warm, friendly atmosphere and hosts Men’s, Ladies, and Mixed Opens year-round. Facilities include a spacious function room and buggies and trolleys for walking or riding golfers.
