Golfe de Amarante

Golfe de Amarante is an 18-hole course designed by Portuguese architect Jorge Santana da Silva, opened in 1997. The course blends natural tranquility with a challenging layout, featuring three par 5s, eight par 4s, and seven par 3s. Precision and distance control are essential, especially on the undulating greens. Doglegs, narrow landing zones through vegetation, tricky features around greens and fairways, bunkers, water hazards, and out-of-bounds areas all demand a complete game with special attention to short shots. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, golf school, and the clubhouse offers the traditional buraco 19 with bar, terrace, and lounge overlooking the course.
