Golfclub Kronach, also known as Gut Nagel, is located in Oberfranken in the Rodachtal, in a hilly landscape overlooking the Frankenwald and Obermaintal. The 18 holes are spread over about 76 hectares and offer a varied and challenging round with elevation changes and constantly changing sightlines. The club was founded in 1990, with the first 9 holes opening in 1993. The full 18-hole course officially opened in 2005. Around the course are a practice complex with driving range, putting green, and pitching green with bunkers, plus a clubhouse with terrace and glass pavilion, a cart hall, and space for golf instruction.
