Old Course Loenen

Old Course Loenen is a 9-hole course with NGF A-status on the edge of Loenen aan de Vecht, designed by Alan Rijks as an inland links course. It has the feel of a classic Dutch polder layout, with rolling fairways, small hills and several water features. Narrow holes, wind and tricky rough shape the challenge, while the open setting creates wide views and a varied natural backdrop with rich flora and fauna. From the stylish clubhouse, golfers look out over the village and the ships on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. Golfclub Old Course Loenen was founded in 2007, drawing on a golf tradition in the region that reaches back to 1297. The club also offers a Golf Academy with practice facilities and hosts events such as the annual Vechtcup and the MIDI-inloopwedstrijd, alongside club activities and NGF competition play.
