Golf de Saint-Jean-de-Monts is a links course in Vendée, built on sandy soil between ocean and forest. The 18 holes, par 72 over 5,896 meters, start with nine holes in a pine forest with green oaks and then continue along the coastline. The course has the character of a true links: wind, light, and seasons give each round a different face, with beautiful views of Île d’Yeu along the way. The clubhouse was renovated in 2013 and retains a traditional and cozy atmosphere, with a bar, fireplace room, and lounges. For training, there is a practice area, practice zones, and a pitch & putt for lessons, courses, and introductions. There is also a ProShop and two large seaside rooms for receptions and meetings.
