Golfclub De Haar

Golfclub De Haar lies west of Utrecht in the historic Zuiderpark of Kasteel de Haar, where an 18-hole course winds through mature parkland with beech, oak and lime trees, plus other distinctive species. Water plays a clear role throughout the layout, with a large pond or river feature and smaller water hazards adding variety to the round. With a par of 71 and a slope rating of 142, the course calls for smart course management, as narrow fairways, strategic decisions and wind on the outer holes can make each round demanding. Designed by Bruno Steensels, the course opened in 2021 after expanding from 9 holes. After the round, golfers can relax in the old clubhouse, which has an intimate atmosphere, a restaurant and views of Kasteel de Haar. Practice facilities are also available.
