Golfclub Almelo

Golfclub Almelo is an inviting 9-hole course on the edge of Almelo, in the green Schelfhorst district. Originally started in 2002 by enthusiastic volunteers, the club has grown into a full golf facility. In 2025, the layout was renewed in collaboration with course architect Jurrian van der Vaart, creating a fresh and engaging round in a park-like setting that adds to Almelo’s green character. Play is arranged as Veenlus and Landlus, with holes played from different tees. The course offers a driving range, practice greens and an additional practice bunker, along with a friendly clubhouse atmosphere. Run largely by volunteers, Golfclub Almelo is known for its relaxed, sports-minded community feel.
