Golfbaan De Texelse

Golfbaan De Texelse is an 18-hole, par 72 links course on the island of Texel, set in a broad dune landscape north of De Cocksdorp. Designed by Alan Rijks, the course lets nature set the tone, with high dunes along the fairways, thick marram grass, sloping lies and shifting sand dunes creating variety and challenge throughout the round. Water hazards, large firm greens and the rugged dune setting give the course a tactical edge, while wind and weather can change the playing experience from hole to hole. De Texelse welcomes both experienced golfers and enthusiastic beginners. Practice facilities include a par-3 course, a partly covered driving range and a putting green, with coaching available through Golfschool Texel and qualified PGAH professionals. After the round, golfers can relax at clubhuis/restaurant ’t Hanenhuus. The course also received a makeover in winter 2021/2022, including a renewed par-3 course and a new clubhouse in an elevated position.
