El Paraiso Golf Club

El Paraíso Golf Club is a classic 18-hole course in Estepona on the Costa del Sol, designed by Gary Player and opened in 1973. Played as two 9-hole loops through the Paraíso Valley, it offers a scenic yet strategic round with fairways lined by palm trees, meandering streams, and views of La Concha mountain and the Mediterranean Sea. The course is known for its signature 15th hole, a dogleg-left par 5 with water, bunkers and a two-tiered green. Golfers also benefit from a clubhouse with a friendly, member-owned feel, plus a pro shop, buggy and electric trolley options, a chipping green and an on-site driving range. In 2023, the course marked its 50th anniversary after upgrades to the greens and tee areas.
