KT2 7DF Kingston upon Thames
Coombe Hill Golf Club is a traditional 18-hole parkland course designed by J.F. “Aber” Abercromby. The course demands thoughtful choices, featuring wide fairways, rolling terrain, and slopes that influence play. You'll encounter a strong right-to-left slope and greens that slope toward the player, testing precision. Depending on tees, it plays around par 71 to 73, measuring 5615 to 6277 yards. The club has a rich history, opening in 1911 with early members like Winston Churchill. WWII impacted the area around the holes, marking the course's past. Over time, it grew to host notable names, including four Open Champions, and Abercromby's design saw Ryder Cup selections in later years.
