Cathkin Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow G73 4SE, Scotland, United Kingdom
Cathkin Braes Golf Club is an 18-hole moorland course, par 71, about 6200 yards long. The relatively flat course demands precise play with tree-lined holes and smart green defenses. A notable challenge is the par-3 fifth hole, crossing a loch to a well-protected green. Founded in 1888 and later redesigned by James Braid, it is Glasgow's oldest course. The clubhouse offers cozy lounges, bar, catering, and a 10-bay covered academy with private teaching bays and an expanding short game area.
