Glen View, BB11 3RW Burnley
Burnley Golf Club, also known as Glen View, is an 18-hole course designed by James Braid. Founded in 1905, it lies on the edge of the Habergham Eaves moors, where rolling terrain offers a varied, sporty round. Open moorland, streams, and elevation changes give the course character, while panoramic views over Ribble Valley, Pendle Hill, and the Three Peaks add to the setting. Each hole presents its own challenge: the 5th is known for out of bounds on one side and a water hazard across the fairway; the four par-3s each have unique defensive features; the 18th demands precision with out of bounds on the right and a lake on the left. The club also features a golf academy with an indoor swing room and covered bays, plus a renovated clubhouse with terrace and balcony.
