Bright Golf Course

Bright Golf Course, part of Bright Country Golf Club, is located in Victoria's High Country between Bright and Porepunkah, on the banks of the Ovens River. This 18-hole par-72 course winds through a 50-hectare valley, with the Alps as an impressive backdrop. The flat to gently rolling terrain follows natural contours and offers a varied round, with wide fairways and holes where water clearly plays a role. This demands both aggressive play and thoughtful course management. The course was designed by Tony Cashmore and opened in 1989. Native couch fairways and bent grass greens contribute to a well-maintained and consistent playing experience. After the round, you can enjoy a drink and light snacks in the clubhouse, with views from the deck over the course.
