Bradfield College Golf Course, Bradfield College, Bradfield, RG7 6BZ
Bradfield College Golf Club is an attractive nine-hole golf course in the Berkshire landscape, between Reading and Newbury. The course was opened in 1998 by former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher and designed by Donald Steel. This gives the compact course a distinct character, with a setting that invites relaxed yet serious golf. Plenty is also available for training and improvement: an indoor performance studio of over 2,000 sq ft, Trackman technology, a USGA putting and chipping green with a greenside bunker, and a practice net with four bays. The clubhouse was renovated in 2017 and the club is known for its warm, family-friendly atmosphere. European Tour winners such as Sam Torrance, Ronan Rafferty, Barry Lane, Paul McGinley, and Anthony Wall have played here.
