Alvor-Lagos Course

Alvor-Lagos Course is part of Palmares Golf, a 27-hole coastal layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Set above the Algarve coast between the Alvor Estuary and the Bay of Lagos, it combines parkland and links styles across three nine-hole loops: Alvor, Lagos and Praia. Sea views and the ocean breeze shape much of the round, giving the course a distinctive coastal rhythm. The Alvor loop brings a parkland feel with hillside views and tree-lined fairways, while Lagos blends parkland holes with lakes before opening into dune landscapes. Palmares also hosts the Almond Blossom Tournament each spring, adding a lively competitive edge during the almond tree bloom.
