Golfclub Almeerderhout

Golfclub Almeerderhout lies in southern Flevoland, just beyond the Stichtse Brug, in a wooded setting rich in birds and small wildlife. The 27-hole course is laid out as three 9-hole loops — IJmeer, Gooimeer and Markermeer — each with a par of 36. With doglegs, water hazards, 113 bunkers and the ever-changing wind, the course demands accuracy and thoughtful club selection. Alongside the main course, Golfclub Almeerderhout also offers a full 9-hole Par 3 course, ideal for sharpening the short game. Practice facilities include a largely covered driving range, practice bunkers, chipping greens and a putting green, while the Golfacademy provides lessons for golfers of all levels. The club has been around since 1983 and is known for its friendly, close-knit atmosphere among more than 1,700 members.
