Abridge Golf and Country Club

Abridge Golf and Country Club is a challenging Henry Cotton parkland course in green Essex, offering beautiful countryside views across 240 acres. The 18-hole, par 72 course measures 6704 yards from the white tees, with a slope rating of 131. The design demands precise play, featuring 36 bunkers, varied elevation changes, and notable doglegs, including a tricky opening hole with a left dogleg and trees limiting visibility. The club has a strong tournament focus, having hosted The South East Regional Open Qualifier and county events. For preparation, extensive practice facilities include a 250-yard driving range, an 18-hole putting green, chipping area, and practice bunkers.
