Abama Golf

Abama Golf is a prestigious 18-hole, par-72 course on the west face of Tenerife’s Teide Volcano, designed by Dave Thomas. Set among lush subtropical planting and thousands of palm trees, it offers striking views of the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera from many holes, while its landscape is shaped by 22 lakes with waterfalls and white-sand bunkers. The course demands thoughtful shot-making, with elevation changes, water hazards, bunkers and narrow, sloping targets combining to test golfers of every level. At the heart of the layout, the clubhouse provides a relaxed base with panoramic views, supported by golf facilities and a Golf Academy for practice and development.
