Mühlenweg 9, 49696 Molbergen
Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre is set in the vast heath and forest landscape of the Thülsfelder Talsperre recreation area near Cloppenburg. The 18-hole championship course, designed in 1992 by architect Christoph Städler, is a par 72. Its sandy soil allows year-round play, while water features, hills, trees, ditches, and undulating greens provide variety. Water hazards play a strategic role on 12 of the 18 holes. The course demands thoughtful tee shots: taking risks can yield better next shots, but the strongly contoured greens make shots around the flag challenging. For practice, there is a driving range with mat and grass tees, covered tee cabins, chipping and pitching greens, and a putting green. Golf school Michael Behrens offers coaching for golfers of all levels.
